Established by Margaret Maybury in 1967 and now run by her daughter Anne, Tara Farm enjoys an unrivalled position overlooking Kenmare Bay and mountains.

Its lands consist of 30 Acres, one section stretches to the banks of the River Finnehy and the second section stretches to the shores of Kenmare Bay with its private shoreline.

It is a haven of peace and quiet and a heavenly place to take a morning stroll or to watch the sea birds in flight. This property is situated on a by-road just one kilometer from Kenmare town or a brisk ten minute walk along a quiet country road.

Tara Farm is a spacious house with six ensuite bedrooms - all large rooms, with Television, Tea/Coffee making facilities, Hairdryer, sitting areas and four of these rooms are large rooms with Queen and single beds overlooking the water, with private patios/balconies and a beautiiful mountain backdrop.

The Guest Lounge also overlooks the water and the dining room is very spacious with individual tables. We offer a full and extensive breakfast menu and light meals, packed lunches on request.

We at Tara Farm take a very special interest in our Guests. There is always some member of the family available to welcome Guests, to advise on Restaurants, to help plan itinerary, or just to have a cup of tea/coffee in the lounge after a busy day.
